Lova scores her first goal for Djurgården by sprinting across the whole pitch and placing the cut back from Bergström in the Eskilstuna goalie´s left corner. The game ends 2-0 in the Stockholm team´s favor.

Cosette in Paris

Cosette Morché has added lots of valuable experience to her CV this fall in the French D1 Arkema. The American goalkeeper has earned a starting spot, and kept the score down to a minimum against world class teams, such as PSG and Lyon.

New audience record in the Swedish league

In 2009 the title match between Linköping and Umeå drew 9,431 spectators - a record that lasted for 12 years, before getting crushed on Sunday, when
18,537 people filled up Tele2 Arena for the derby between Hammarby and AIK.
Five 9ers Fanny Hjelm and Caroline Murray started for their respective teams.

COSETTE MORCHÉ introduced herself to the French top league with a bang. The American goalie got the dub, clean sheet, and Team of the Week in her first game for GPSO 92 Issy.

JULIA OLSSON, with BP and Embry-Riddle as former clubs, made her debut in Sweden´s top league. The fullback, who can play multiple positions, earned a spot in the starting XI right after transferring to her new club. Her team drew 1-1 against Kristianstad at home.

Koivunen makes debut at 19 years old (!)
FINLAND´S and perhaps Europe´s most promising goalie made her debut in Sweden´s top league against KIF Örebro on June 28th. Koivunen lead Linköping to their first victory in 5 games.
Berggren chasing dreams in Italy
ELIN BERGGREN makes the most out of a current injury by preparing for the next step at Soccer Management Institute - the school and football academy in Rome. The Swedish fullback left Mallbacken for her new adventure in mid Augusti -21.

HAMMARBY won the important Stockholm derby against Djurgården at Hammarby IP. The end score was 3-2 and Fanny Hjelm was selected MVP of the game.

Swedish Top League debut for C. Murray

CAROLINE MURRAY went right into the starting XI for AIK. The 27-year old made her top league debut in the first game of the season, against Växjö DFF.
Both AIK and Caroline have started the season very well. Caroline has played 90 minutes in every game so far, and the team is currently 9th in the table.

Anna to the National Team
ANNA KOIVUNEN gets her first call up to the Finnish senior national team!
The 19-year old goalie has been selected together with Tinja-Riika Korpela from Everton and Anna Tamminen from Hammarby.

Finland to the Euros
JULIA TUNTURI and her Finland have qualified for the 2022 European Championship in England!
Finland will be at the tournament for the first time since 2013.
Anna and My become teammates
TWO OF OUR youth national team players have signed for powerhouse Linköping FC.
My Cato from the Swedish U19 and Anna Koivunen from Finland´s U23 have each signed a 3-year deal with the club, and will play together at Linköping Arena.

Morché to NWSL
IT WAS a life goal for Cosette to join an NWSL team, and became reality quicker than anticipated. Only 1.5 seasons after turning pro in Sweden, the opportunity presented itself. In December 2020 the goalkeeper signed with OL Reign.

Lova goes pro in Spain
LOVA LUNDIN puts medical school on hold to focus 100 % on her football. The former Umeå IK player signs with Spanish top league team EDF Logroño.
1st team contract for Tufve
TUFVE ÖSTLUND has practiced with the 1st team of Degerfors for quite some time, and has now officially signed for the Swedish elite club.
The technical defender has national team camps with both the U16 and U18 on his resume.

First cap for Sweden
MY CATO makes her debut in the Swedish u-18 national team. The skilled midfielder has never previously been selected, and this marks a huge milestone in her career.
Her first two caps came against Iceland and Norway in a 3-nation tournament hosted by Sweden.


From NCAA D2 to Italian Serie A
FROM SUNDSVALL to Florida to Italy. Sophie Brundin leaves Embry-Riddle University for Italian top club Sassuolo.
The Swedish multi talent can now call herself both engineer, CEO, and professional footballer.


NWSL champion to Benfica
JULIA SPETSMARK signs for Portuguese top club S.L. Benfica . With a fresh NWSL title and Swedish national team experience, she´s the perfect signing to match with Benfica´s high ambitions.
The club has been home to some legendary Swedes on the men´s side, but Julia is the first on the women´s team!



From college straight to pro
