Linnéa represented hometown team Leksands IF until she was 16. For high school, she moved to Linköping to study at a football school and play at a higher level.
At 19, she received a scholarship in the United States, and continued her career in West Palm Beach, Florida.

After 4 seasons at college she graduated with a business degree and the highest possible honors (summa cum laude).
​
Linnéa was headhunted to work for an American college agency right after graduation, where she stayed for two years. The first year at company headquarters in Florida, and the second one in Barcelona, Spain.
In summer 2018 she left to start her own agency, Five 9 Sports Management.
