Sophie Brundin
Sophie is a tall, fast and reliable defender who´s very comfortable on the ball. She left her hometown Sundsvall to play for Embry-Riddle University in Daytona Beach after her high school graduation. She played all four years for the school, and graduated with a degree in biomechanical engineering.
We started working with Sophie after her final season in college, to help her take the next step in her career. In the summer of 2020 she signed a 1-year contract with Italian top club Sassuolo.
Apart from playing soccer full-time, Sophie is both CEO and engineer at NOMI: No More Injuries - the company she started after an ankle-sprain. When she didn´t see any good ankle braces on the market, she created her own and made a business out of it!
